A "unicorn" refers to a privately held company valued at over $1 billion.
Unicorns are often innovative tech companies disrupting traditional industries or introducing groundbreaking products or services.
In 2013, venture capitalist Aileen Lee came up with the term to describe these rare and highly coveted entities with amazing growth potential.
Famous unicorns include:
